Freundeskreis Amerika-Haus Berlin!
The U.S. have a closer relationship with Berlin than they do with any other European country. That is why so many of Berlin’s citizins continue to seek opportunities for dialogue and exchange in order to build upon and strengthen the bonds of this great friendship.
Working to support an active and lively intercultural relationship is therefore what we see as our main task, thereby building upon the great Amerika Haus Berlin tradition.

The Extremists
The Freundeskreis Amerika Haus Berlin visited the performance „The Extremists“ at the English Theatre Berlin. It is a new and biting, original political satire in which a television talk show threatens to escalate.
„The Extremists“ celebrated it’s world premier performance at the English Theatre Berlin and provided for a lively discussion during the small reception following the performance. We were invited to the event by the English Theatre Berlin, itsself a member of the Freundeskreis Amerika Haus Berlin.

"Stundenweise Amerika"
From 1995 to 2007 the membership corporation Freundeskreis Amerika Haus Berlin e.V. sponsered books and other publications informing about the United States for schools in Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt. The organization will continue with this project, yet is currently reviewing the spectrum of material provided to ensure it continues to meet the necessary requirements for schools.
